The Berkeley Hotel London and Corex Honeycomb

Corex aluminium honeycomb has been the used in the design the entrance of The Berkeley Hotel London in Knightsbridge, working with Bellapart, Spain, the final result is spectacular! Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners were commissioned to carry out the project of creating a new entrance for the luxury hotel in London. The ‘revolutionary façade’ features our aluminium honeycomb panels sandwiched between glass to create a canopy above the entrance of the hotel. The glass canopy is then supported by sixteen 9m-long carbon fibre beams. The general manager of The Berkeley Hotel commented that he is happy extremely with the final result saying:

The new design is a perfect example of how an established  building in the centre of a major city can embrace the most cutting edge design aesthetic and provide guests with an exciting environment where they receive an unparalleled sense of arrival.
